No Motivation

It has been exactly 30 days since I have last updated my progress. In that 30 day blackout I have gained about 7 pounds back, have injured myself to the point of excercise delay and discomfort, and have lost all motivation to keep going. I am not really sure what happened. It seemed like I was going along, excited everyday to get out and go to the gym and the next day all excitement and will left.

Since that black day, I have only been making it to the gym about twice a week. I am trying to revitalize my commitment to health and well being, but in the meantime its kind of like pulling teeth...

Week Review

I did pretty darn good this week with my goals. I made it to the gym 5 out of the intended 6 days, and combining that with 2 nights of dance class, I am feeling very active and fairly healthy these days. I am starting to feel general fitness, flexability, strength, and stamina returning and with that is a wonderful feeling of ME returning. The ME that grew up in a dance studio, was on the swim team, and loved being healthy and active. I have greatly missed that aspect of myself over the last few years of childbearing and relocating.

The bummer part of finally feeling better about my activities is that I seem to be hitting a weight plateau. I have done some yo-yo-ing and some really really slow weight-loss, but none of the awesome shedding that I was experiencing about 2 months ago. I got a coupon for a FREE personal-training session at my gym that I am going to take advantage of on Tuesday and I am really really hoping that this re-boots my weight loosing system.

I am going to be starting dance rehearsals once a week for a competition I am taking part of that is coming up way too soon. I am SO excited! It has been amazing to be in class again and I am stoked to be learning choreography and be in a rehearsal setting.

The Plan for This Week:

-Running/Swimming 45 minutes

*Tuesday
-Personal Training 1 hour
-Zumba 1 hour

*Wednesday
-Running/Swimming 45 minutes
-Spinning 1 hour

*Thursday

One Day

I have been gaining a severe passion and admiration for yoga and would hope to one day become certified to teach it. One day, you might come to visit me and will find me in these poses...

This Week

-Yoga
-Running
-Zumba
-Contemporary Dance
-Ballet Class

Not too bad so far. I had to take the day off today cuz I almost couldn't walk this morning, but planning on attacking again tomorrow. Weighed in and back down -5 lbs, so I am pretty much just a big, round, weight yo-yo.

Total Weight Loss: 16 lbs

I made it 3 times to the gym so far this week; with a planned trip tomorrow morning. 4 out of 5 is not too bad. I took a crazy crazy pilates class yesterday morning with a teacher who I am pretty sure was trying to cause bodily injury to us all. 2-4 minute sets of everything seems a little extreme for a novice class and a bit sidelined from the whole Pilates Method. Oh well, I am totally feeling it today and that is what counts right??
